Downtown Washington on the Waterfront, Inc. () mission is to serve as a facilitator and catalyst to renew, restore, rebuild, and revitalize the downtown business district, improve economic conditions, encourage tourism, and preserve historical buildings and their significance. DWOW is a 501(c)(3) corporation.

Little Washington Sailing Club

The Little Washington Sailing Club
has announced that they will again be offering classes to teach youths
between the ages of 10 and 18 how to sail in the summer of 2010.

The school was so successful in the summer of 2009 that LWSC
has made plans to have more boats available in 2010.
LWSC plans to offer 5 two week sessions,morning or afternoon,
beginning on June 14 through August 20.
